Getting Windows 98SE to Auto-Logon?
When you say auto-logon do you mean the user name/password box at logon? If so it's been covered many times in here- and is on Microsoft's site. When you install Windows don't enter a user password when the dialog with user/password appears. Then you won't be asked at boot. A quick search of the newsgroup archives

If this is true, then autologon will work once, the policy will take effect, then, the next time you logon, the Username entry for Autologon will be empty.
